The purpose of this job is to provide continuous oversight of an outdoor swimming pool facility ensuring a safe environment and performing lifesaving techniques in the event of an unforeseen situation.

Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Scanning the surrounding area to ensure safety of personnel swimming and occupying the facilities;
• Performing lifesaving techniques as required;
• Rescuing drowning victims from the water, performing first aid and CPR as required;
• Enforcing all pool rules;
• Assisting with routine maintenance of the pool, cleaning the restrooms, pool and pool area; and
• Performing additional tasks as assigned.
