The purpose of this position varies to include opening and closing the park, collection of park entrance fees, greeting and providing park information to the general public, leading volunteer activities, and assisting in the maintenance, inspections, enforcement, operations, programs, office tasks, and other areas assigned in either a park or facility.
Qualified applicants must possess the following:
- Some High School education;
- Public relations or cash handling experience;
- Or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience which provides the requisite knowledge, skills, and abilities for this position.
- A valid driver’s license.
Please note: Employment for this position is temporary and ends on June 30, 2010. This is a non-merit (at-will) position and serves at the discretion of the Department Director.
WORK SCHEDULE: Schedule will vary and includes hours between 5:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. Monday – Friday, 9:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. Saturday, and 2:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. Sunday.
